Condition: Eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and similar skin condition
Note: This is all that relates to my experience and may or may not help others with similar condition. Do discuss this with the doctor before taking any actions.
My Kid was having this condition and we went through various doctors, dermatologist, hospital visits. Gone through a really worst period which I don't want to highlight here as I would like to highlight the solution that work to certain level for us.
The products that we tried and worked for us
Shampoos and Conditioners:
Dermaveen Shampoo and Conditioner
Bath Oils and Bath wash:
Use the products from
- QV (Wash, Bath Oil)
- Deermaveen (Wash and Bath Oil)
Creams:
- Aveeno ( Green one) for daily moisturising and can be used all over the body and head. It is non pore blocking as well.
- QV Cream
- Eucerin, if the skin is heavily dry
- Sigmacort for minor condition and this can be used on the face. Refer to the CMI (Consumer Medical Information)
- Eleuphrat: A stronger steroid and works pretty good for us. Refer to the CMI (Consumer Medical Information)
If the baby get really irritated and can't cope with the itchiness, can't sleep, polaramine worked for us. Refer to CMI.
Suggestion:
- Give plenty of water to the kids
- Try avoiding woollen clothing and stick to cotton or cotton-polyester. I prefer cotton only.
